WASHINGTON DC – The Solar Decathlon, an educational project of the U.S. Department of Energy, was held on the mall in Washington, DC from October 9 – 18, 2009. This event brought together 20 college and university teams in a competition to design, build and operate the most attractive and energy-efficient solar powered house.
The highly energy-efficient RecoupAerator 200DX, was chosen by three of the teams to provide the all important ventilation component of their design. All three teams placed in the Top 10.
